In 6 sessions, held over one week in 2009, musician, Shaughan Ferguson lead sound and music workshops in the gallery. These workshops used the painting, The Wave by Roderick O'Conor, as inspiration. One session, with members of York Carers' Centre, used objects from the Yorkshire Museum's archeology collection to add sounds from the past. Instruments and equipment were set up in the gallery's education room to create a real sound studio for the duration of the project.. The finished sounds were editted into a single piece by Shaughan.
