Lesley Seeger

Lesley Seeger teaches & exhibits regularly, and has painted full-time for the past 15 years. Her paintings are colourful, vibrant re-interpretations of nature and its shapes.

Her interest in the ability of art to unlock the unconscious is reflected in both her own work and her teaching style.

Lesley is a qualified art therapist with experience of using the creative process in a variety of therapeutic settings including the NHS and NSPCC. She is currently Art Development Worker in the renal units of York, Easingwold and Harrogate hospitals.

Lesley has run classes at York Art Gallery, Sleningford Hall and The Stables Project in York. She has also taught primary school children in and around York.
